Youssef Sheroubi was born in Cairo, Egypt. At age 8, Youssef moved to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates with his parents to an extensively diverse collective of cultures. His independent journeys across the world as a young adult exposed him to ideologies that sparked an interest in the artistic language of the human mind. 

He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Arkansas State University (class of 2023), emphasizing in oil painting. His work on neo-surrealism and psychedelic subjects is inspired by his multicultural background. Youssef’s first solo exhibition, Going Both Directions at Once, opened in November 2021 in downtown Jonesboro, Arkansas. Since then, he continued to do a variety of independent shows, as well as A-State organized group shows. 

His most recent shows include a group show titled "Soup" and a solo exhibition in the Bradbury Art Museum in Jonesboro, Arkansas. (opened May 5- May 31 of 2023).

He is currently working on a new series inspired by the damage of war, along side a community based company titled SOMETHING SKATEBOARDS
